Who hasn’t had to bleed their radiators…I mean, every home has to do it from time to time right, to help keep them in working order. It’s a chore done usually before Winter arrives and it starts to get really chilly. If you have a two story house, then you’re used to bleeding the upstairs radiators frequently. Towel rails are also notorious for getting air locked easily, as it always finds its way to the highest point in the system.
But have you ever wondered where the air coming from? How does it get into the system causing your radiators output to reduce considerably? And is there a way to stop this from happening?
Well, there is a way – the Oxyvent way.
The Oxyvent Way
So we know that the air comes from the boiler as part of the natural process of heating water. We cannot prevent it from occurring, but we can stop the air from getting into the radiators. The Oxyvent Tank has a built in device to capture those micro air bubbles as they leave the boiler. The un-wanted air is held inside the Oxyvent tank until the heating system is switched off. Then the air is released through a unique non- drip automatic air vent and keeps the radiators air free. Oxyvent simply stops the problem at the source and makes sure it won’t occur in the first place.
