Hot water tanks

The Oxyvent Tank heats the cylinder uniformly from top to bottom

The Oxyvent Tank increases the temperature of the hot water tank
by 25°C extra in 1 hour.

The Oxyvent Tank has a unique way of improving the performance of your domestic hot water. When the heated water leaves the boiler it first goes to the hot water tank passing through it up to 70% faster than conventional systems, heating it uniformly from top to bottom. After it passes through the hot water tank it enters the Oxyvent Tank and it is then dispatched to the heating system. The higher flow rate means that the hot water tank heats faster.

The Oxyvent Tank gives priority to the hot water system even though the heating is also in operation meaning that the temperature is maintained at a constant level. The temperature of the water within the tank is maintained over 60 degrees even though the boiler is only set at a temperature of 65 degrees – 60 degrees is crucial for killing bacteria in domestic hot water. In a conventional system boiler temperatures of 75 degrees and upwards are necessary to maintain this temperature.
